Can I choose my own body shop, or do I have to use my insurer's shop?

You can choose. Your insurer may suggest a shop from its network, but the decision is yours. Tell your adjuster you want your car repaired at Legend Motors and we'll take it from there.


What should I do right after a car accident in Michigan?

Make sure everyone is safe and call 911 if anyone is hurt. Take photos of both cars and the scene, and exchange insurance information. Then call us: we'll tow your car and help you start the claim.


Does insurance cover the tow?

Many policies cover towing after an accident. Either way, our tow to a Legend Motors shop is free.


Will I get a rental or loaner car?

We offer loaner vehicles. If your insurer requires a rental company instead, we'll point you to one we trust.


What is a mini-tort claim?

In Michigan, if another driver caused the accident, you may be able to recover up to $3,000 from them for repair costs your insurance doesn't cover, such as your deductible. Ask us and we'll explain how it works.


How long will my collision repair take?

It depends on the damage, parts availability and insurance approval. We'll give you an estimate after the inspection and update you throughout the repair.
